The BHOA was established to protect your rights for your most valuable asset - your home. There is strength in numbers!
According to Delaware law, each manufactured home community must have their own registered homeowners association in order to benefit from the laws affecting us. Membership is especially crucial in regards to recent legislation. Bayside must have 25% of their leaseholders as members in order to access legal funds that we contribute to on a monthly basis.
The Board of Directors is made of four officers and seven directors. Currently there are five openings for directors.
Directors attend Board meetings, and can vote on issues brought before the Board. Unlike officers, they have no specific duties but can be asked to assist the officers with certain tasks.
Directors should be willing to educate themselves on the laws and issues affecting the community.
Currently the Board meets quarterly.
